Required fields

Questions we get a lot.

  • What areas of Guanacaste do you work in?

We represent residential developments across Guanacaste's coast, including communities like Tamarindo Park and areas near Huacas and Playa Grande. If you have a specific area in mind, let us know and we'll point you to projects that match.

  • Do I need to be in Costa Rica to buy a property?

No. We regularly work with buyers from abroad. We can guide you through the entire process remotely — from your first inquiry to reviewing documents and closing — and coordinate with local attorneys on your behalf.

  • What's the difference between “pre-sale,” “under construction,” “ready to move in,” and “sold” listings?

Pre-sale refers to a property offered before breaking ground, when layout adjustments can still be reviewed. Under construction means the building is actively being built, with a defined delivery timeline. Ready to move in means the property is completed and available for occupancy. Sold means the property is no longer available — we can guide you to find a similar unit.

  • Can you help me with financing?

Financing options may be available depending on the development and the property. Our team can explain the options for the projects we represent and, where applicable, connect you with the right financing partners, so you understand your alternatives early in the process.

  • What happens after I submit an inquiry?

We review the information you share and arrange a call to understand your needs in more detail, so we can guide you toward the right projects. We stay with you from that first conversation through closing and beyond.

  • What does Living Roots actually do for a development?

We take on the commercialization of the project: positioning, pricing guidance, professional presentation, setting up the sales team and sales process, and working hand in hand with the marketing team to connect the development with qualified buyers — backed by a network that includes legal, financial, and construction partners.

  • What stage does my project need to be at before you can represent it?

We work with projects at different stages, from design phase through completed, move-in-ready units. Earlier engagement usually gives us more room to shape positioning and pricing strategy before launch.

  • How do you find buyers for a project?

Through positioning and marketing built specifically for the community: we define who the project is for and reach that buyer directly, supported by our qualified network of national and international buyers and our knowledge of the Guanacaste market.

  • What information do you need from us to get started?

Typically the company behind the project, project name and location, current development stage, unit types and pricing, and the kind of support you're looking for — for example full sales representation, setting up the sales team and sales process, or working hand in hand with your marketing team.

  • Is there a minimum size or type of project you work with?

We work with residential communities, condominium projects, and commercial developments in Guanacaste, and we analyze every opportunity on its own merits. Reach out with your project's details and we'll take it from there.
